Learning to correctly use the toilet is a massive developmental step in any child’s life. It is a highly anticipated event for any parent and a huge leap in the child’s plight for independence.

Readiness for toileting is not as simple as your child reaching a certain age, it involves multiple aspects of a child’s development too occur simultaneously. Not only must physiological development, such as muscle control occur so must development of their motor skills, cognitive and verbal skill as well as their emotional and social awareness. 

Our Supporting Toileting evening is designed to not only give you the knowledge and skills you need to recognise when your child is ready for this step but to also ensure that this transition occurs as easily and as peacefully as possible for both you and your little one.
